Child Life Specialist; Part-Time

• Child Life Specialist will apply knowledge of child development, special needs of the hospitalized child and family dynamics to promote optimum development of children.
•  On a PRN basis provide Child Life Services in the hospital or Emergency Department including playroom activities and at bedside.  This is also to include pre-op teaching and procedural support for patients.
• Specialist will help children maintain normal living patterns and minimize psychological trauma for children 0-21 years of age.

 **Tuesday thru Saturday**

• BS/BA in Child Life, Child development or related discipline. 
• Completion of a 12-15 week (minimum 480 hours) Child Life Internship in a Child Life Program required under the supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist.
• Must be eligible to sit for Child Life Certification exam.
• CCLS preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
