Nationally Ranked Electrical Construction Firm seeks Experienced Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager for Philadelphia metro area.
Unique opportunity for a career-minded Local 98 PM to join an established, financially stable commercial electrical construction firm. Location: Philadelphia metro area (Local candidates only PLEASE): You must currently be working in the greater Philly area (e.g. good working relationships in the IBEW local 98)
*** PLEASE note; to be considered for this role, you MUST have gained your relevant project management experience working for an IBEW Electrical Contractor. Unfortunately, we can NOT accept experience gained working as an in-house construction PM or electrician, nor even PM experience gained with a GC or a CM. Must have had project P&L accountability while working for a Local IBEW electrical contractor. ***

Qualifications & Experience: Were looking for an electrical construction Project Manager with a proven track record of experience performing the following responsibilities:
5 to 10 years PM experience (gained working for an electrical contractor (NOT as an in-house PM or working for a GC or a CM firm)
managing profitable projects ranging in size from $1-5M (electrical revenues only),
including new construction or infrastructure upgrade projects,
where project focus included one or more of the following industries / functions:
o data centers, high tech (including clean rooms, pharma manufacturing)
o healthcare / academic medical institutions (including laboratories, imaging and surgery centers)
o financial services, new office construction and trading facilities:
o media and broadcasting including television and radio broadcast studios and transmission systems related to high definition TV.
o corporate infrastructure upgrades related to redundant power systems, security and fire safety installations
Demonstrated expertise with electronic estimating software (Accubid preferred); scheduling software (Primavera or MS Project preferred), MS office software (e.g. excel)
hands on experience estimating, costing and managing change orders
Target Profile: Successful candidate has a stable work history and is likely to have gained relevant experience worked for one or two of the following electrical contractors (e.g. ADCO, Allison Smith, Armour & Sons, Conti, Dynalectric, EJ Electric, Fisk, FreeState, Hatzel & Buehler, Helix, Inglett & Stubbs, JP Rainey, Mass Electric, MC Dean, Miller, Mona, MYR Group, NEAD, Parsons, Railworks, Rosendin, Sasco, Sachs, Truland, Unity, Wayne Griffin)
