Receives and prepares specimens for laboratory testing. Enters requisitions for laboratory testing into the Laboratory Information System. Answers phones, relays patient information to caregivers. Prepares and sends patient samples for reference lab testing. Performs phlebotomy in outpatient areas.
High School Diploma required. Phlebotomy certificate preferred. A minimum of three years experience in a laboratory processing area required.
