Job Description
Pain Management Department
An excellent opportunity exists within the Pain Management Department, working full-time primarily Monday through Friday, day shift. Call rotation is required. The selected candidate will perform tasks as directed by the supervising physician, while complying with all hospital by-laws, rules and regulations. Duties include having all entries in the medical record co-signed by the attending physician, taking direction from the Department Director, and prescribing Category III and above drugs as indicated by state/federal licensing. This individual will also implement telephone orders for Category II drugs when a standing order is present, as well as provide orders under supervision of physician during assigned on-call duty.
Expansions underway! Size of Infusion Unit will be doubled, and an additional 18 bed Inpatient Unit will be added.
Minimum Qualifications
· Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNP licenses required for CRNP candidates (or eligibility for immediate Pennsylvania license).
· Current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license required for Physician Assistant candidates (or eligibility for immediate Pennsylvania license) and current NCCPA certification.
· Pain management experience required.
· CPR and ACLS certification required.
· Oncology experience preferred.
